Import / Export Add-on for PDF for Ninja Forms (Yeepdf templates) PFNF PDF Template Tools is a lightweight add-on that adds reliable Import / Export and a Meta Inspector to Yeepdf PDF templates used by PDF for Ninja Forms. It’s designed specifically to stop the common issue where imported templates appear blank because the builder payload isn’t preserved correctly. ✅ Safe for updates (no vendor file edits) ✅ Works across sites (perfect for client deployments) ✅ Built for real-world Yeepdf template data What it does PDF templates created with Yeepdf often store their layout as a large JSON payload (typically in data_email). Standard export/import methods often miss or mangle this data — leading to blank templates after import. This add-on:

• Exports the builder payload safely using base64 encoding
• Restores it on import with the correct WordPress escaping behaviour
• Ensures templates open in the builder exactly as designed

How to use Export

1. Go to Yeepdf → Import / Export
2. Choose a specific template or “All templates”
3. Click Download JSON export

Import

1. Go to Yeepdf → Import / Export
2. Upload your exported JSON file
3. Tick “Skip duplicates” if you’re importing into a site that may already contain templates
4. Click Import templates

Meta Inspector (developer tool) Use the Meta Inspector button to view the raw post meta for a template. This is ideal for verifying that data_email and other payload meta has been stored correctly. Changelog 1.0.1
